Founded in New York City in 1982, the company's first transactions involved conversions of manufacturing/loft buildings into office space. Having sold Crown's portfolio before the late 1980's crash, the principals patiently waited for the correction to run its course. Beginning in Texas in 1990, assets have been carefully accumulated nationally, totaling 2,000,000 square feet today. the company's assets are in the eastern half of the country with particular emphasis on the Northeast region. Crown Properties' mission is to selectively invest in and improve class A and B office buildings nationwide. The company's entrepreneurial flair is reflected in its value added approach to investing. Expertise lies in prudent capital expenditures, hands-on asset management and measured cost cutting. This powerful combination goes to the core of the company's philosophy. The enhanced cash flow as a result of this philosophy, combined with conservative debt levels, has served to enhance building values and hence catapult Crown Properties to the top tier of entrepreneurial owners. Each person is an expert in their field and has the skills and foresight to place us at the leading edge of commercial real estate firms. Davar Rad - President and Founder. The experience accumulated in having witnessed a couple of real estate cycles and successfully completing over 60 property acquisitions totaling in excess of $1 billion, has given Davar a depth of knowledge from which to set goals and strategic directions for the company. Eveline Brown - Director of Finance. Eveline's tenure with the company began in 1983. Today, Eveline directs a staff of six (6) property accountants and administrators as well as the property accountants of seven (7) third party service providers. Eveline was responsible for the company's recent migration to the Yardi property accounting system which is now utilized by Crown Properties and all of its service providers. With budget responsibility for many millions of dollars, Eveline's speed is only matched by her accuracy. Alexa Rad - Director of Acquisitions. Alexa joined Crown Properties in 2006 as the Director of Acquisitions. Prior to joining Crown, Alexa was a loan analyst at Capital Source Finance LLC where she specialized in real estate loan originiations. Stephanie Rad - Director of Acquisitions Hospitality & Residential. Stephanie joined Crown Properties in 2009 to expand the companies portfolio into Luxury Hospitality and Residential Markets across the U.S.. Prior to Joining Crown, Stephanie worked as an Asset Manager at Corrado Properties, Incorporated a privately held company where she focused in Operations and Financial Management for multiple residential properties & a 4 Diamond Resort & Spa in Southeastern UT.
