The Delmar Fire Department is made up of caring men and women who provide fire and emergency medical services in the Town of Bethlehem in Albany County, New York. Since 1911, the Department's volunteers have been devoting their time to protecting their community. Today, the Department's more than eighty volunteers respond to more than 2000 calls for assistance per year. In 2006, the Delmar Fire Department's members dedicated approximately 20,000 volunteer hours to provide emergency services and in training.
