Our Mission is to earn the trust and approbation of our community by providing them with the highest standards of care and service under any medical emergency. Mohawk Ambulance Service takes pride in employing only the most highly-skilled, caring and respectful personnel, who are equipped and trained to use state –of –the-art equipment and who share our passion for consistently delivering superior emergency medical care.

We provide wheelchairs in two sizes, if necessary, or you can use your own. We will handle small flights of stairs if needed, although an additional fee may be required.

Mohawk Ambulance Service employs more than 200 New York State Certified Emergency Medical Technicians, Critical Care Technicians and Paramedics ready to provide the highest quality of emergency medical care.

Mohawk Ambulance operates a full service billing office in Schenectady, NY to meet the needs of our patients. Mohawk is a participating provider with several major insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, Blue Shield and MVP, and bills claims directly to hundreds of other Commercial, HMO, No-Fault and Workers Compensation carriers. Our experienced staff utilizes state of the art computer technology and is trained in all aspects of verification, billing and collections.
