We are extremely proud to announce that the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce (the business voice for this creative city) has chosen Design Applied to provide them with Interior Design and Project Management Services as they relocate and expand their offices. With the variety of designers available to them, this is a big feather in our cap! Speaking of office expansion, this summer I was at the office and decided to order in Chinese food. I opened up a fortune cookie and it read "you would do well to expand your business." That was great to hear, since I had already decided to acquire a new space for Design Applied. Our new space opened August 19, 2005. As for our design team, we believe in balancing work, play, and giving back. Geoff Ross has been volunteering this past summer at Theater West. He brings his keen design eye and solid project management skills to this worthwhile organization. Jossie Rivera traveled to Vancouver, Canada, as the ASID Student Representative of the Board at the National Leadership Conference. We're very proud that her ability to showcase her leadership and knowledge has provided her with this opportunity. She is a strong member of our team. As for me, I have been diligently training for my first triathlon. It is incredibly rewarding to put in the dedication, determination, and sweat into preparing for this. I have always wanted to call myself a triathlete and soon I'll be able to do just that...
