Double R Construction, LLC (DRC) is a multi-faceted company, founded in 2002, specializing in design-build renovations and new construction. DRC is based in Middle Tennessee, but has projects throughout the state of Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. DRC has capabilities associated with much larger companies, but has endeavored to maintain the hands-on approach of smaller businesses.

After retirement from the VA in 2006 and the appropriate time away from governmental work as required by law, Ray began contracting with the VA for small maintenance type work and later for complete renovations of specific areas of the medical centers, including design-build projects. Ray has built a design-build team which includes an architectural firm, and mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers. As the company has gained experience and built a quality reputation, these contracts have grown in complexity.

With the vast experience and knowledge contained within the DRC team, we are capable of consulting with our customers and determining the best approach for resolving problems associated with construction activities, and to determine the best work flow arrangement for your particular needs.
