At EMI, we have an in-house art department experienced in creating designs suited to men, women, juniors, boys and girls.

EMI carries a well-selected line of Resort Apparel for Men, Women, Juniors and Kids. We offer a full line of sportswear for all ages and pursuits constructed with the latest styles and fabrics (sourced domestically and internationally.) In late 2011, we introduced a HOT new brand called Premium 51, and have seen great success in sell-through with that line! The first trade show of 2013 brought Pocket Monkey for kids to the market and we are all excited at the response. You Always Have a Friend with Pocket Monkey!

Concessionaires, Tourist Shops, Parks, Zoos, Aquariums EMI Sportswear’s line is found in single and multi-store chains in a quaint tourist town, concessionaires at a National Park, gift shops at the Zoo or Aquarium and in hotel stores in the nicest part of town. EMI Stands for "Early Man Images" What does "EMI" stand for? Founder and company president Russ Coburn started the company in 1985 as Early Man Images. With an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts and graduate studies in Archaeology, Russ combined his artistic talent with his personal interest in the prehistoric cultures of the Southwest, and hand-drew images that were eventually screen printed on t-shirts. When the t-shirts proved to be a hit with his fellow archaeologists, Russ jumped in the ol' Chevy van and took off on Route 66 selling to trading posts and souvenir shops along the way.
