Located in Meridian, Mississippi, the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation serves as the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development organization for our community. We are a private, not-for-profit organization committed to improving economic vitality and quality of life for our citizens. The EMBDC was formed in late 1996 by a visionary group of business leaders. They are now joined in their commitment to building a better community by over 700 like-minded businesses and individuals. The EMBDC has a strong partnership with the public sector, as well. EMBDC staff and volunteers work closely with our elected officials at national, state and local levels.
