Our funeral directors have collectively served the area for over 75 years. We’ve built our reputation on giving area families the perfection they demand and deserve. Our goal is to treat all families the way we would want to be treated – with respect and dignity. The Ritchay name has been trusted in the Wisconsin Rapids area since 1957. We are a second generation family-owned funeral business.

For over 50 years Ritchay Funeral Homes has been honored to serve the families of the Wisconsin Rapids and Nekoosa areas. The Ritchays purchased the former Feldner Funeral Home at 403 Prospect Avenue, Nekoosa, in 1981, from longtime owners, Vernon and Thomas Feldner. In 2003, Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home relocated to its' present facility at 615 First Street. John Jr. and Mike established RB Cremation Services in 2006 at the Nekoosa funeral home. The Ritchays are proud to have served the Nekoosa area for over 30 years.

With two convenient locations in Wisconsin Rapids and Nekoosa, we provide meticulously maintained facilities and attention to detail that assures our community of friends and neighbors, the very best in contemporary funeral service, at an affordable price. Our modern facilities offer ample parking, a pleasant environmentally comfortable atmosphere and large, spacious chapels. They are both handicapped accessible and our staff is trained to meet any special requests.
