I am very excited to bring the program Welcome to the Real World to Foley Middle! This program is offered by the Alabama Cooperative Extension Office. For this program, your child will select a career, and be given a "family status". From the information we provide, your child will create a workable budget to provide housing, food, clothing, transportation, insurance, and more. The kids will learn how to work with a checkbook, and how to keep it balanced! This is one of my favorite opportunities of the semester. I NEED YOU!!! This program requires parent participation!! I need 8 parents to come work with the kids during the entire day. You will work as bank tellers, insurance agents, real estate agents, etc. Please consider giving us your time on DECEMBER 10, 2009.
