Determining the correct forest management plan is fundamental to establishing the direction, continuity and priorities needed to meet both short and long term client goals. In the complex regulatory world of California, Forester’s Co-Op provides guidance to our clientele in selecting the proper planning tool for the specific forest or oak woodland property. Once we have established the short and long term goals of our clients, we tailor and build the planning/permitting mechanism to meet or exceed all governmental forest practice rules and regulations.

Forester’s Co-Op welcomes any and all opportunities to provide public agencies or private owners with comprehensive written proposals in a competitive project bid situation. Often we partner with other professional disciplines to integrate our Companies experience and expertise with theirs so as to provide project proponents with the services they require.

Our staff of professional foresters offers your project a combined total of 40 years of practical on-the-ground forestry, biological, and firefighting experience. Our primary strength is in the accurate collection of a broad spectrum of field natural resource data (timber volume, wildfire fuel inventories, botanical, biological, hydrological, etc.) and then rendering this data into Geographical Information System (GIS) analytical tools for use in the environmental permitting process.

Our licensed and trained personnel offer extensive Vegetation Management Services ranging from fire and fuel reduction projects, Integrated Vegetation Management (IVM) , to noxious weed identification, survey, and eradication. We specialize in simultaneously GPS surveying and applying herbicides to undesirable vegetation to meet control or suppression objectives as well as developing and implementing an IVM plan that meets the client’s long term vegetation management goals.
