Front Porch Alliance

Description

The Front Porch Alliance originated as a project to mark the 50th anniversary of the Village Presbyterian Church in Prairie Village, Kansas. It quickly grew beyond the dreams of even the founders into a major effort that partners with both urban and suburban churches as well as many social service agencies, civic groups and city programs, all in an effort to help an inner-city neighborhood take back its community from the crime, blight and drugs that have plagued it for the past thirty years.
