Welcome to the official website of the award-winning Garland Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Our's is a daring, but undaunted mission to improve the political, educational, social and economic status of people of color; and work to eliminate the acts and effects of racial discrimination. At the Garland Branch NAACP, we believe that colored people come in all colors. Our programs in education, youth works, political action, voter empowerment, health, employment, and economic empowerment are inseparably guided by our mission. This website is dedicated to the memory of those freedom fighters who gave so much so that we as a people can now live so well.
