By agreeing to the Electronic Communications Agreement, you agree and provide your electronic signature to this Electronic Communications Agreement. Under this Electronic Communications Agreement, you agree that Green Dot Corporation (“we” or “us”) may provide agreements and disclosures related to the cards, accounts and all related services to you electronically (via email or on our website) instead of in paper form.

The company is the largest provider of prepaid debit card products and prepaid card reloading services in the United States, as well as a leader in mobile banking with its GoBank mobile bank account offering. Green Dot Corporation products are available to consumers at more than 90,000 retailers nationwide, online and via the leading app stores.

Your prepaid Card may be used to rent a car, but rental car companies "authorize" (have money held) for much more money than the actual cost of the rental car. The reason is that the rental car company won't know if they need to charge you for additional expenses like gas, car damage and extra days until you return the vehicle. These authorized funds will be held and unavailable for you to spend until the final transaction is posted to your statement. This means that you might not have access to these funds for as long as 90 days.
