Dave has been pioneering technology in the payments space for over 15 years. As one of the founding software engineers at Authorize.Net, he was involved in building a payment gateway that defined Internet payments. Years later while working for Mtrex, another payments technology company, Dave played a key role in a small team that brought another innovation to the industry by developing Dynamic Currency Conversion technology. He is a listed inventor on several Mtrex patents related to payment technology.

The founding of Select Bankcard began in early 2010 in Eureka, CA, when the founders of the company got together to discuss the merits of starting an Independent Sales Organization (ISO) to offer merchant services in the local community and throughout the United States. A need was identified in the industry for an ISO with a reputation of trust, direct control over key aspects of the business, and the technology needed to scale without sacrificing service to its customers. A few months later, Select Bankcard was founded with offices in Lehi, UT and Eureka, CA.
