Description

The North Carolina Federation of Dog Clubs (NCFDC) is a statewide non-profit organization devoted to the promotion and welfare of dogs. Founded in 1955, the Federation draws its members from more than 90 active dog clubs throughout the state. The NCFDC helps educate responsible dog owners and breeders and assists its member clubs in providing community services. The NCFDC and its members also seek to influence the passage of legislation and ordinances regarding the interests of dog owners in North Carolina.

THE ANIMAL COUNCIL (TAC) was founded in 1991 to combat San Mateo County’s (California) action to enact legislation forbidding cat and dog breeding, and mandating sterilization of all cats and dogs. TAC is a California nonprofit, public benefit corporation tax-exempt under Section §501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Florida Animal Owners Alliance, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to protecting animal owners, users and enthusiasts against proposed legislation, harassment and propaganda put forth by animal rights activists. We support reasonable well-written legislation which serves to protect animal owners' interests, but also believe in the humane and proper care and treatment of animals.

Our mission is to provide information and education to elected officials and others so that legislation and regulation will promote the health, well-being and appropriate care of all dogs, protect the rights and responsibilities of dog owners and breeders, and support responsible dog ownership.

Dog Owners of the Granite State is an American Kennel Club affiliated non-profit organization founded in 1991 to represent the interests of all pet owners in New Hampshire.
