He was chosen from a wide selection of business and industry experts to be on on hand working with participating students. Matt has over 10 years of experience with CAD software and is a leader of Building Information Modeling (BIM), being one of the industry firsts to master Audtodesk® Revit® MEP.

HCYU Building Engineered Solutions (HCYU) is a multidisciplinary, Richmond, VA based, consulting engineering firm providing a wide range professional engineering services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety, telecomm, security, central utility, energy conservation and commissioning. Our specialty is providing sustainable (LEED) designs for high-tech / high performance buildings for laboratory, health care, and higher education projects.

We specialize in sustainable designs for high performance buildings that maximize energy efficiency and utilize environmentally-friendly components.

Our projects have included providing engineering services to expand the airport in order to fulfill Eero Saarinen’s Master Plan for the Main Terminal, originally constructed in the1960’s.
