� Haas Managed Benefits specializes in designing employee benefit programs that meet the needs of your employees and families. And at the same time, managing your bottom line to control the cost for you to provide the benefits. Haas Managed Benefits has partnered with other firms that offer various components to provide total health management of your self-insured employee benefit program.

This was a very unique challenge. The Union members voted to obtain their health insurance from a larger Taft-Hartley Plan. The new plan would not accept the early retirees. This left the early retirees without coverage as January 1st of that year. The Trustees contacted their current consultant and several other employee benefit firms. They all said it could not be done and the trustees would,���� per the union contract, be responsible for the medical claims for the next 5 years.� Haas Managed Benefits was contacted in a desperate plea to provide a medical plan for the retirees. The challenge was working with a group of individuals who did not qualify as a group, were between 55 and 64, were dealing with medical issues and needed the insurance. Bill went to work gathering the necessary information. He worked with the trustees, union leadership and the retirees to design a program to meet their needs. The retirees ended up with a plan design�� that matched their current level of benefits, and lowered the monthly cost for both the trustees and the early retirees. The trustees and the union approved the plan and it was successfully implemented.

In an effort to address association memberships concerns regarding the rising cost of health insurance, the Board of Directors for two Associations endorsed Haas Managed Benefits to work with their membership. We offer a unique approach to manage the cost of providing employee benefit plans to the member companies. Haas Managed Benefits has built a long standing relationship with the associations and its members by controlling cost and providing excellent service.
