Description
Propane is a hydrocarbon and along with other liquefied petroleum gases is a component of both natural gas and crude oil. It is obtained from the refining of crude oil or through the processing of natural gas. Under normal conditions of use, propane is a clean burning fuel with approximately 2 1/2 times the BTU’s contained in a cubic foot of methane, which is the principal component of natural gas.
