In the early 80's we downloaded our system to the PC-micros, and in turn we moved our system over to UNIX/XENIX* systems. Times kept changing, in the mid-80's we totally rewrote our system adding many more modules and features. We invested approximately 10 man-years into this project. We named our new system Hardhat to better reflect our dedication and specialization to the construction industry. We are proud to say that we converted our IMAG customers - including their files over the new Hardhat. Today, we are still improving Hardhat. In addition to all federal and state requirements, we are constantly striving to make Hardhat better. Our latest effort was to completely rewrite the software to include such enhancements as graphical interface with point-and-click access for Windows users, on-screen help, drop down lists for search and inquiry (Jobs, Employees, Invoices and much more), unlimited number of fiscal years, access to the year 2000, multiple drill-down features and much, much more. This version we named Hardhat2000. Hardhat has received overwhelmingly positive response from its users. Just as a contractor must keep up with current developments, Hardhat, striving for excellence, continues to respond to changes in industry procedures. Through the years, Hardhat has greatly enhanced the system by incorporating valuable suggestions offered by our users (contractors like yourself), CPAs, and specialists in the construction field.
