Heritage Academy is an alternative, chartered, public school of approximately 370 students. It is a school of choice. Should you choose to come here, you need to know that more will be expected of you. Generally, our standarts are higher, both academically and personally than that of most other schools If you have come here thinking school will be academically easier, you may want to rethink your decision. Heritage Academy does not back away in the least from high expectations of our students. Our teachers have also been trained to integrate the teaching of Character and Competence into the classroom. This helps to implement the belief in our mission statement that true education is the development of strong character. Heritage Academy provides opportunities for many educational field trips and American heritage tours. These are unique privileges and will be open to all scholars who qualify to participate.
