Founded in 1968, Hidell-Eyster International is an independent bottled water consulting firm with headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. The firm is employee-owned, providing technical, commercial, and strategic advice to international clients in the bottled water, POU, enhanced waters, and non-alcoholic beverage industry. Mr. Hidell is a member of the Executive Committee and former member of the Board of Directors of the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA). He is the recent past Chairman and remains a member of the Board of the International Council of Bottled Water Associations (ICBWA) which has recently been named the only non-governmental organization (NGO) permitted to represent the industry before the Codex Commission on bottled water issues and regulatory matters. This status was achieved during his guidance as Chairman of the ICBWA.
As founder, Mr. Hidell has provided consulting services to the bottled water industry for over 30 years on a global basis. A recognized expert, his Clients have included the largest companies in this industry. He has an undergraduate degree in Geology/hydrogeology from West Chester University and a Graduate degree in Land-use Planning and International Economic development from Southern Illinois University.
