The Holmes County Herald was established in 1959 to serve all of Holmes County...Cruger, Durant, Ebenezer, Goodman, Lexington, Pickens, and West. Established as a stock company, the Herald is today owned by East Holmes Publishing Enterprises, Incorporated, with Bruce and Libby Hill being the principal shareholders.
