No. The founder of Husky Senior Care has graduate and undergrad degrees from UW, we contribute to UW as part of our mission, we hire students from the nursing program, and the company was founded to serve university alumni in general. We are not formally affiliated to UW and have entirely different non-overlapping missions. Husky Senior Care is a licensed homecare company. UW is an educational institution.

Husky Senior Care is a Muscular Ally for Seniors Who Want to Stay Home. We Provide Quality In-Home Care for Seniors in Seattle, Bellevue, Issaquah, Tacoma and Everett with Hourly and Live-In Caregivers Available.

Victoria Long was the first Care Manager and Assistant Care Supervisor for Husky Senior Care when the company was founded in 2009. During college, while studying early childhood learning, Victoria served as the primary caregiver for her aged mother who was a stroke victim. After college, Victoria worked at Ryther Child Center in the field of social work. Victoria then applied her social work background to senior living communities, working as an Activity Director and Assistant Administrator for five years.

We provide Hourly and Live-In Home Care Services to support seniors in whatever place they call home: the family home, a condo, a retirement living apartment, or an assisted living apartment.

When my wife Victoria and I were considering starting our own company we talked about the "organizational culture" of the company as much as we did about what type of business we wanted to start. Since both of us had extensive experience in Senior Living Communities, we were confident that a Senior Home Care business was a perfect match for us.
