Informant Technologies. Inc. was incorporated in the State of Pennsylvania in August 1999. The company began business in September 1999 following its acquisition of a DOS-based public safety records management software application that was then being used by a number of police departments and other public safety agencies primarily in the northeastern United States. Within a year of its founding. the company completed the development of a Windows-based records management software solution for public safety agencies. Informant has been gradually adding to its product and service offerings. Accordingly. in addition to prepackaged public safety software and related services. the company's current offerings to private and public sector organizations include custom programming. software documentation. systems integration. installation and training services. and software and hardware implementation.
