KJ Environmental Management, Inc. (KJE) is a dedicated, full-service environmental consulting firm located on the north side of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex (Denton, Texas). KJE is comprised of a team of professionals who strive to provide creative and cost effective solutions for today's multi-faceted environmental issues.

The Minor Source Permits are unique to each state, as each state has designed their own permitting program in accordance with the 1990 Clean Air Act. Minor Source Permits are managed by the states and are for use by typical and less significant sources of emissions. Permits range from by-rule permits, which have generic requirements for each type of industrial operation, to case-by-case minor source permits, which have site specific construction and operating conditions. KJE has experience in most of the 48 contiguous states and Canada provinces.

Old fuel storage tanks associated with former gas stations and auto repairs can be long forgotten and left underground, where they may deteriorate and release their contents to the subsurface. KJE staff has experience with locating, removal, and closure procedures related to underground storage tanks. Not sure where the tanks are located? We also have relationships with contractors to provide cost-efficient Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Surveys.

KJE offers a wide range of environmental services such as soil and groundwater sampling, site assessments, brownfield remediation, stormwater sampling, spill investigations, and much more. KJE has experience in the development of construction and industrial SWP3s and associated Notices of Intent (NOIs) in accordance with state-permitted and EPA MSGP stormwater permitting. In addition, KJE can assist in stormwater problem-solving through engineering design to redirect sheetflow, consolidation of outfalls, and installation of site-specific Best Management Practices (BMPs).
