Each family with part time and full time students at The King's Academy is asked to send 10 letters requesting sponsorship for their student’s participation in a service day. This is similar to a bike-a-thon, except rather than riding a bike, students spend their time serving the community. The letter describes the service projects and the intended uses of the donations. It has been a successful fundraiser for us for the last three years, bringing in between $12,000 and $15,000 each year. Students will be volunteering throughout our local communities in October. This is a great experience for students, showing them that they can make a significant contribution toward their school and community.Families: Please remember to fill out your Legacy packets and return your stamped envelopes to the school office.
