Leff Electronics is an industrial electronics wholesale distribution business servicing OEM, MRO, contract manufacturers, panel shops, installers and contractors to name a few. Our customer base includes a variety of nationally recognized manufacturing companies, hospitals, broadcast stations, educational institutions, as well as young start up technology companies. Our deep product offering and line card allow us to provide a wide variety of goods including wire and cable, tooling, test equipment, surveillance products, labeling/ID, power supplies, voice and data to name a few.

By the early 1970's the company focus had shifted to industrial electronic parts supplying original equipment manufacturers, contract manufacturers and local assembly business. Around this same time the company name was changed from M Leff Radio Parts to Leff Electronics, reflecting the shift in product offering now focused more on the OEM markets and less on the supply of repair parts.

Originally known as M. Leff Radio Parts, the company was founded in Braddock, PA, and operated out of the back of a station wagon by Max Leff starting in 1946. Over the next several years Max set up a number of storefronts, mainly in the Monongahela Valley of the Pittsburgh region. During that time the product line was made up mainly of repair parts for television, radio and small appliance replacement parts used by local and area service repair men.
