Welcome to the Light House Design site. Like most architects' sites, we have a great portfolio for you to view. But it takes more than pretty pictures to turn your home dreams into reality. There are lots of steps, and you may need a map to guide you through the complicated process of design and construction. This site is designed to be a resource to help you plan your project. The top four colored headings are a quick way to navigate, each section provides a good overview of that subject. The Portfolio contains one hundred images organized by category. Images with a red icon below them indicate projects that have dedicated pages with multiple images and project descriptions. The 3D section takes you on a tour of the future of architecture. We show you how design communication is evolving from traditional "blueprints" to 3D animations. For the most detailed information, the other left main headings (with pop-up submenus) provide in-depth analysis of all aspects of design and construction. Be sure to read "The Emotional Side" to consider a subject often forgotten, but critical to those about to embark on a project. Ask David is the place to get individual questions answered. We will try to respond as quickly as possible to your questions or comments. Items of general interest are archived for others to read, with personal information deleted.
