The Electric Utility contributes 12% or approximately $4.2 million dollars per year to The City of Lodi's General Fund. These dollars are used for parks, police, fire and other city services.To serve customers more efficiently, for over 30 years Lodi Electric Utility has been a member of the Northern California Power Agency (NCPA), a collective comprised of utilities that own and operate their own power plants. This cooperative effort allows Lodi Electric Utility to supply customers with electricity at competitive prices.Lodi Electric Utility continues to strive to meet customer demand for reliable electric service at competitive prices. In addition, NCPA members are actively exploring future supply options while at the same time meeting the industry's highest standards.
