Marcus Construction Services, LLC , a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marcus and Associates, Inc., is a general contracting company whose primary function is to provide maintenance, repair, renovation and new construction to clients of the firm.

In 1980, the lure of entrepreneurship led him to join Marcus and Associates, a local real estate firm founded in 1971 by his older brother Marcus. Dale started the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Division and served as Vice President. In 1984, he was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer, and in 1997, assumed the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

In 2008, MCS obtained a general contractor’s license and expanded their services to include renovations and major repairs for properties being readied for sale and for clients’ personal residences and investment properties. Brent Nishikawa, the youngest son of Company founder Marcus Nishikawa, returned from Northern California in 2010 to take charge of MCS.
