Dr. Richard R. Maxa is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician who has been providing medical care to the citizens of Duluth and north Gwinnett County for over seven years. On September 2, 2003, Dr. Maxa continued his adult medicine practice in his new office location in Duluth.If Dr. Maxa has been your chosen Primary Care Physician for your health plan, you do not have to change physicians. He will continue to participate in all of his current managed care plans. Just call the office and the staff will assist you in transferring your records to the new office.Dr. Maxa currently performs services for both inpatient and outpatient care and is affliated with Gwinnett Hospital Systems including Gwinnett Medical Center and Joan Glancey Memorial Hospital.
