Our company story began in 1977, when Jerry Schaefer and his little black terrier MossDog started Moss Audio Corporation to provide high-end speaker systems for audio purists. MossDog is now just part of our history, but his name and his spunky spirit live on in everything we do.

From integrated networking systems that keep employees constantly connected, even when they’re in the air or on the road, to HD audio/visual tools that support the sales process, MOSS provides businesses of all sizes with the technology they need to grow. Our decades of experience in making technology work for business have taught us that no two companies operate the same way — which is why we specialize in customized solutions that include wired and wireless networking, audio/visual platforms and cabling infrastructure. The end result is a solution that works perfectly the first time.

Our founder and CEO, Jerry Schaefer, founded Moss Audio Corporation in 1977 to design and manufacture high-end speaker systems for audio purists. The company name was his tribute to his constant companion, a spunky little mutt Jerry claimed could open doors and answer phones. Things moved quickly. From a few young, mustachioed technicians, MOSS soon expanded into system implementation for AT&T, DEC, IBM and Michigan Bell. Our unique understanding of multiple systems (and exceptional customer service) helped us launch our own telecom service company … and we never looked back.

MOSS understands that every space has its own audio personality (after all, we began by designing high-end speakers).
