The Mt. Sterling/Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Commission is dedicated to providing high quality recreational programs, leisure activities and facilities that encourage individual growth and promote a sense of community belonging and pride. Our staff is committed to cultivating and protecting Montgomery County's natural resources and to working as partners with public and private organizations and individuals in the community to preserve the city and county as a safe, caring and healthy community.

The committees of the Chamber of Commerce carry out specific Plans of Work to provide services that continue to make our community grow and prosper. All members of the Chamber are encouraged to serve on committees, for a Chamber’s success depends on an active membership.

Mt. Sterling Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole private member-owned club located in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Founded in 1961, the club features a picturesque and challenging par 71 golf course measuring 6,915 yards from the championship tees, with rolling terrain, Bermuda fairways, and bent grass greens.
