John Sciandra President and CEO John R. Sciandra, is a 30-year veteran of the information technology business. He is founder and CEO/President of NACON Consulting, LLC a provider of distance learning solutions to the federal government. His IT career began while serving in the U.S. Army Special Operations where he designed and built complex mission support systems. After retiring from the Army he worked as a software engineer and chief architect. Shifting focus to concentrate on computer security, Mr. Sciandra worked at the U.S. Army CERT as an IA engineer and incident handler where he built a cyber forensics lab, supported a joint task force investigation and assisted the FBI in tracking down an international hacker. After forming NACON and working on Information Assurance contracts within the DOD, Mr. Sciandra shifted the company focus to fill a need in providing hands on style training solutions and this continues to be his passion. Mr. Sciandra holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Park University and a Master of Science degree in Information Security from James Madison University. Mr. Sciandra is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). As President and CEO, he continues to strive to offer creative solutions.
