Dave Chappell is a seasoned veteran in the areas of Service-orientation, middleware, architecture, grid and cloud computing. Chappell has 30 years of experience in the software industry covering a broad range of roles in leading-edge architecture, and spends much of his time working with OSG clients to define and implement new strategies for mobile applications that integrate well, and scale reliably and predictably in corporate environments.

Previous to OSG, Chappell served as the vice president and chief technologist for SOA at Oracle Corporation, where he drove the vision for Oracle’s SOA on App Grid initiative. In that role he was responsible for defining architectural patterns and product capabilities that combined Oracle Coherence data grid with the SOA tools to allow customers to build service oriented applications that manage “Big Data” under high-throughput and low-latency conditions.

Most of OSG’s clients are in the financial services sector, but we have experience in many industries, including transportation, entertainment, education, government and many more. Wherever there are complex IT issues that require high-level expertise, OSG is right at home.

Finally, OSG engineers and consultants are available for staff augmentation to our client base. Preferably, a relationship has been established previously between the companies so that we can select the perfect consultant for the client’s requirements. Typically, that consultant has delivered in previous engagements for the client. When prior commitments require the introduction of a different consultant, our relationship with the client ensures that the person selected to fulfill the role will fit within the client’s culture and will be able to begin contributing immediately.
