Olson Engineering has conducted a number of internal R&D efforts over the years which has led to the development of the Olson Instruments Freedom DATA™ family of instruments and the CTG line of Concrete Thickness Gauges™. Our CTG product line features the world's most powerful and easy to use hand-held concrete testing devices. In addition to our on-going internal R&D efforts, we have also performed over $1.8 million of government funded and jointly-funded research on NDE applications in construction for such agencies as the National Cooperative Highway Research Program, the Federal Highway Administration, the U.S Bureau of Reclamation, and the National Science Foundation and U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Small Business Innovation Research programs. We develop custom NDE instrument systems to meet private client project needs, and welcome the opportunity to discuss you R&D system needs.
