Description

Amy Wilson-Reilly, the owner of Paint + Canvas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Spanish and Education from MTSU, with a minor in Art. Mrs. Reilly began taking art at the age of 7 from Jan Roblin of Florence, Alabama (a wonderful art instructor for over 30 years). Amy continued lessons with Jan until she moved to Nashville in 1988 where she continued studying art with John P Ashworth IV in the Vocational Program at Overton High School. She was accepted to, and attended, the Summer Art Program at Pratt Institute of Art and Architecture in 1990. Several respected art institutes offered scholarships to Amy and a full Presidential Scholarship to Austin Peay State University was awarded to her upon high school graduation with the assistance of her art portfolio. These days, Mrs. Reilly paints or draws every day in her own studio and profoundly enjoys teaching art, a career in which her life and education have trained her to excel.

No, but we suggest that you wear older clothes that you don't mind getting paint on. We provide aprons for those who want them.
