Powerlink Facilities Management Services has its roots in Link 2 Staffing, a company founded in 2002 by Link Howard III, a certified lean process instructor in the manufacturing industry who saw an opportunity to apply his expertise in continuous process improvement to the facilities maintenance and management field. Howard launched Powerlink Facilities Management Services in 2003 with one account in a Grand Blanc, Michigan paint facility. The company provided paint system cleaning and maintenance as well as commercial cleaning services. From that start with less than 100 people, Powerlink has grown every year and now employs more than 300 people serving more than 50 facilities in the eastern U.S. and Canada.
