Davis County Hospital is a 25?bed critical access hospital and is situated in Bloomfield, Iowa. We provide health services to over 8,000 residents in our community. Bloomfield is located over 111 miles to the east and west of the three largest tertiary care facilities in the state. With the addition of several helicopter services in the area, our facility is able to provide a higher level of emergency care to our patients.

Anderson County Hospital has been fortunate to be able to work with Rheumatologist, Dr. Kevin Latinis since 2009. On site, Rheumatology services are very difficult for a small critical access hospital to provide to their patients in a rural setting. Having services close to home is desirable for patients as travel is costly and may be physically difficult for them. Not only does Dr. provide for regular patient visits but also for the infusions of the latest therapeutic medications. Dr. Latinis’ clinics are full, he works as long as he needs to see all of his scheduled patients.
