Prepared Response develops and maintains security applications for public and private sector use designed to help save lives and mitigate property damage. Our Rapid Responder application allows emergency response personnel and others to act quickly, decisively, and safely during any facility-related emergency incident. The company, headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, was formed in September 2000.Using Rapid Responder, law enforcement, fire and emergency personnel can access mission critical information about virtually any structure at the touch of a button. Rapid Responder was initially created to help public safety forces become more proactive in dealing with emergent school safety issues. Yet the uses for Rapid Responder go well beyond public safety.With a laptop (or any computer), individual responders can instantly access pre-determined safety plans, floor plans, staging areas, hazardous materials, utility shut-off locations, and photos for virtually any structure. Responders can also easily create incident command and control plans through a fully integrated Incident Command System (ICS), and communicate locally, regionally, or nationally in real time via our secure Internet connection.
