Description

Prism Data Systems was founded in 1989 by Curtis Moore and Bill Swanson. Curtis and Bill had developed applications in the POS industry for several years for major POS manufacturers. They recognized a void in the market for an easy to use data collection product that moved information from the restaurant to the management headquarters. Prism remained a "software only" company until 1997. At that time, Larry Ohls and Wade Mays joined the ownership group. Larry had been a regional sales director for PAR Tech for 15 years and Wade was a regional account manager for 10 years with PAR.
