PROMEX is a unique technology driven EMS and packaging foundry. We have specialized knowledge in building physically small electronics devices utilizing microelectronics assembly technologies, as well as applying proven commercial packaging techniques to drive out cost in optoelectronics assemblies. Often, our customers conceive of and develop the products we build, working with PROMEX cost reduction and NPI.Many of our customers are in the medical device, commercial electronics, optoelectronics, RF & wireless and emerging Silicon Valley technology markets. We also service the specialty chip packaging sector offering small volume quick turns through medium volume on shore production.PROMEX has expertise in building physically small electronics devices. Our core technology is direct chip attach ( DCA, both chip-on-board and flip chip ) combined with high density surface mount ( SMT ). This combination of technologies is the best for building small devices. While the combination requires specialized design and assembly expertise, the result is a low cost, physically small, highly reliable, low risk, highly manufacturable, quick to market product. Prototypes, starting with a customer provided schematic and ending with an electronic subassembly, can often be built in 4 weeks for less than $10,000.
