ProtoTest was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1998 with a clear mission in mind: to make software testing practical, predictable and highly productive for organizations that develop or implement complex software. We achieve this goal by delivering expert consultants equipped with proven techniques and tools. The company, which is privately held and self-funded, has grown quickly, most recently through the addition of a Dallas, Texas office. ProtoTest has created real, measurable value for over 140 client companies.President Pete Dignan founded the company after 15 years in the information technology industry in a wide variety of management positions. He is a founding board member of the Software Quality Association of Denver, and a former member of the Industrial Advisory Board for the Computer Science department at Colorado State University. He currently serves on the board of the Colorado Technology Community Foundation. Dignan is a 1979 graduate of the University of Virginia.Kim Bunck is ProtoTest's VP of Client Services. She is responsible for the delivery of consulting and training services, including methodology and service quality. Kim is a former VP of Quality Management Systems for Thomson Healthcare. She has over 16 years diverse experience in the implementation of technology across multiple industries and application domains. Kim holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
