Our History Physician Group of Utah was founded in 2008 to form a partnership with our four IASIS hospitals operating in the greater Salt Lake valley. Our goal is to provide exceptional primary and specialty care at convenient locations throughout the valley. Since our inception, we have experienced exciting and significant growth as we have expanded our resources and reach, to better meet the health care needs of communities along the Wasatch front. Today we operate over 45 clinic locations with 135+ physicians. Our Utah hospital partners include: Davis Hospital and Medical Center, Jordan Valley Medical Center, Pioneer Valley Hospital, and Salt Lake Regional Medical Center. IASIS also operates Health Choice Utah, a managed health plan providing Medicaid and Medicare services to residents in Davis, Salt Lake, Utah and Weber counties.
Jordan Valley Medical Center is a first-class community hospital that is constantly growing to provide excellent healthcare for the people of the southwest Salt Lake Valley. Over the past few years, the hospital has doubled in size and recently completed a major expansion that increased its size to 183 beds. Substantial investment in advanced technology and state-of-the-art equipment has helped the hospital attract a top-notch medical staff and a team of highly-skilled nurses.
