Redpoint Ventures

Description

Innovation doesn't come easily. Neither does creating a company. Success takes a team with an attitude that says "we're in this together". Entrepreneurs need a partner with deep industry knowledge, a strong network of contacts, the willingness to think big and the ability to move fast. With more than a combined 100 years of operational, industry and venture capital experience, Redpoint looks at technology investing from the perspective of supporting the entire process of early-stage company development. Our current investment focus is primarily in four areas: mobile wireless platforms and applications, consumer Internet services and platforms, enabling technologies for the digital home, and systems and software for the enterprise infrastructure. We believe that a venture capital firm must bring the entrepreneur more than money. We take a three-tiered approach to starting businesses that bring value to our companies at every level.
