The global account manager is a newly created position that will build strong relationships with our clients, deepen the relationships by uncovering additional RPI product and service opportunities and seamlessly handle issues that arise with ease and diplomacy. In this role you will: Manage, support and close opportunities and service an assigned set of existing strategic accounts. Thoroughly understand our strategic client’s business, competition, market trends and available research with a focus on value creation. Find, create and close new revenue opportunities within existing accounts. Effectively and responsively manage all client communication; serve as the liaison between client and internal teams generate and maintain a credible forecast for accounts and provide this information on a regular basis to senior management. Manage and coordinate account managers working in other locations who serve the designated account. Provide regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested by management (internal and external) optimize sales and identify the potential to maximize distribution and assortment. Build strong relationships with internal teams.

An MBA or equivalent Experience in precision machining, contract manufacturing, and other low volume-high mix environments. Experience in mid-sized ($50-$150 million) stand-alone, manufacturing businesses as opposed to working in a division of a larger company. Experience working in a private-equity sponsored business. Demonstrated sales/marketing experience to drive revenue growth Ability to balance big picture thinking and attention to detail. Must be willing to be “hands on” to create results.
