Dr. Malcolm S. Pond graduated from Yale University and the Johns Hopkins University Medical School, and received his medical degree in 1973. He completed his residency training and cardiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins, and is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), and has practiced in Riverside since 1978.Dr. Chiayu Chen graduated from Johns Hopkins University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and his cardiology fellowship at George Washington University. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). He has been in practice in Riverside since 1989.. She completed graduate school at UCLA, specializing as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a major in cardiology. She has an extensive background in critical care, cardiology, and electrophysiology. She is also certified as a Critial Care Registered Nurse and a Public Helath Nurse. Marlene supervises our lipid, heart failure, and coumadin clinics as well the Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) program.
