Scada telemetry panel. One of our water district customers needed to accurately monitor the level in a water storage tank, and convey this information to the Scada master control panel. Our solution was to relocate one of their existing Scada remote terminal units (RTU) to the new tank facility. We then provided a solar system with battery backup to provide a power source. We upgraded the system with an AC inverter to power the 120V control panel. The district avoided the high cost of bringing in a utility power source, and also avoided paying any electric utility bills for years.
