Various governmental groups are dedicated to preserving, protecting and providing access to the natural resources of South Central Nebraska. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service , 308-236-5015, and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission , 402-471-0641, were previously mentioned as providing such services.
Reliability of service is important to our customers. We take pride in keeping the lights on for you despite Nebraska’s harsh weather. Over the last five years, we have been able to provide 99.9% service reliability.
Deer Creek Hunt Club , 402-746-5123, southeast of Red Cloud, five miles north of the Kansas border on the Republican River, is headquartered in a remodeled farmhouse that was originally built in 1909. In addition to this house for lodging, the Deer Creek Hunt Club has an adjacent hunting lodge, 500 acres dedicated to controlled shooting and 1000 leased acres for wild bird hunts.
Working with leaders from the area communities and counties to establish a South Central Nebraska Economic Development Vision Task Force . The aim of this task force is to develop and establish an economic development vision for South Central Nebraska.
