Peninsula Regional has been providing care for over 115 years. The not-for-profit Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland offers the widest array of specialty and sub-specialty services on the Delmarva Peninsula. It has received over 125 national awards, certifications and recognition over the past six years for the safety and care it provides patients and the outcomes they experience.

Easter Seals Pediatric Rehabilitation Center Easter Seals is a non-profit health care organization that has a long and rich history of providing therapeutic rehab services to children (and adults) that goes back to 1919. The Salisbury Easter Seals Pediatric Center was founded in 1996 and now serves well over 400 children per year from the Eastern Shore ranging in age from newly born to adolescent. The rehab center is open five days per week and is staffed with full time Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists.

Founded in 1975, Wor-Wic Community College provides more than 60 credit program options leading to an associate degree, certificate of proficiency or letter of recognition, as well as documents of completion for continuing education courses. Wor-Wic offers a variety of online and hybrid, as well as day, evening and weekend classes. Students can complete their first two years of college at Wor-Wic before transferring to a four-year school to earn a bachelor’s degree. Students interested in entering the workforce immediately after graduation can enroll in one of Wor-Wic’s career programs.
